This photo was the beginning of a lil ritual I did a couple of weeks ago. I like the idea of using one source of flame to light all my candles - kind of how my own energy is the one source for all the happenings in my life, how my source is part of what gives all of us life and power. . This ritual was aimed around abundance in home and finding opportunity and power to stand alone. In the last 2 weeks so much has manifested so quickly. . I have found my own place to live solo for the first time in my life. I sent in my application and got an email a couple of hours later for a viewing the next day. The day after that I signed my lease and that evening I started packing. Next weekend I move. . I was wondering how I was going to pull this all together - financially, physically, mentally. But it turns out all the people I surround myself with (new and old) were there to support me and my happiness just as much as I am. My community is a reflection of myself and to have so many people offering their love, muscles, time, advice, and blessings has confirmed why I moved to Halifax but also my choice to live on my own. . I'm so excited to head out on this adventure! In the midst of all this I'm also publishing my book, taking on new work and projects, and somehow have more energy and drive than ever to carry myself through. . I'm not really going anywhere with this or trying to convince anyone that these rituals work, but I do believe whatever our own personal brand of magic is is important to foster and recognize. Whether its lighting candles, envisioning the trick you want to land, telling someone your plans, or flipping coin.
Just so u all know @frankiexgrow is the cutest cat of all time and now he has insta so u can be involved in his shenanigans 24/7. This has been an extremely important public service announcement.

The Magician is one of my favourite cards in tarot. For me it represents the ability to make anything happen. It is magic, potential, manifestation. Pulling this card makes me feel confident in my own abilities to make my life my own and to take accountability for my part in how things pan out. . Tarot doesnt tell you your future, it tells you the trajectory of your energy. What you put out into the world comes back to you! By no are these readings set in stone- in fact I often use them to check in on myself and see if I'm honoring my energy and challenges I may have to work through. It's good for fine tuning, honest revelations, and finding a deeper connection with ones life. . Every Tuesday at @atomiccafehfx I do readings from 730AM-4PM and am setting up some other places in Halifax where you'll be able to get a reading.
